Some materials solve a problem.

Others completely change the way you see a space.

Large-format sintered stone and porcelain surfaces can do both.

Inside a home, they can transform a shower, fireplace or outdoor living area. In a commercial environment, they can create the feature wall, bar, reception area or visual moment that defines the space.

The key is knowing where to use them.

Because not every surface needs to be the focal point.

But the right one can be.

For a long time, designing with tile meant designing around a grid.

Individual pieces. Repeating grout lines. Pattern breaks. Transitions from one material to another.

Large-format sintered stone and porcelain surfaces change that conversation.

Instead of asking how a wall should be divided, designers and homeowners can begin thinking about the wall as a complete surface—using scale, movement and pattern to create an architectural feature.

Less grid. More design.

And that opens up possibilities far beyond the traditional countertop or shower.

Large-format sintered stone and porcelain surfaces open up an entirely different approach to bathroom design. Instead of breaking a space into a grid of smaller pieces, oversized surfaces allow color, pattern and movement to become part of the architecture of the room.

As temperatures begin to cool in Arizona, attention starts shifting back indoors. Fall is when many homeowners start thinking about the projects they’ve been putting off and the bathroom is often near the top of the list.

In Arizona, outdoor space is not extra space. It is where we cook, entertain, gather, cool off, and spend a good portion of the year enjoying the weather. So why should the design stop at the back door?

First impressions happen fast. A reception area, lobby, retail environment, office, or hospitality space starts communicating something about a business before anyone says a word. The materials are part of that conversation.

Beautiful surfaces are easy to find… Finding one that looks beautiful, performs in everyday spaces, requires minimal maintenance, and can move from the bathroom to the fireplace, feature wall, or outdoor living space is a different conversation.

What was once designed as a collection of separate surfaces is becoming a more intentional, connected space where material, function, and architecture work together.

The best spaces are not defined by how much they cost. They are defined by how they make you feel every day. They are easier to maintain, more enjoyable to live in, and thoughtfully designed to stand the test of time.

For decades, traditional tile has been the go-to choice. Today, however, many homeowners are exploring large format shower panels for their clean appearance, minimal maintenance, and modern design.

When people think about wellness, they often think about exercise, nutrition, or getting enough sleep.

Increasingly, designers, architects, and homeowners are recognizing another important factor: the spaces we spend time in every day.

When most homeowners begin planning a bathroom remodel, they focus on the fun decisions first. Tile colors. Fixtures. Vanities. Paint. Lighting.

But one of the most important choices you'll make isn't the color of your shower. It's the material behind it.

Today’s bathrooms are designed to be more than functional—they’re places to relax, recharge, and enjoy everyday luxury. As remodeling trends continue to evolve, more homeowners are replacing traditional tile with large-format shower systems that offer a cleaner, more seamless look.

If you’ve been researching countertops, shower walls, fireplaces, or luxury interior finishes, you’ve probably come across the term sintered stone. While it’s one of the fastest-growing materials in architecture and interior design, many homeowners are still asking the same question:

First impressions matter. Whether it’s a luxury retail showroom, hospitality venue, corporate office, or multifamily development, the materials you choose shape how customers experience your space. At VeloraLuxx, we provide premium sintered stone surfaces that combine sophisticated design with the durability today’s commercial environments demand.

The kitchen has always been the heart of the home, but today’s homeowners expect more than beautiful design. They want surfaces that can withstand daily life, require minimal maintenance, and continue looking exceptional for years to come.

Commercial environments are expected to perform at a higher level than ever before. From hospitality and multifamily developments to corporate offices, healthcare facilities, and public spaces, materials must withstand constant use while maintaining their appearance for years to come.

Modern architecture increasingly blurs the line between indoors and out. Large glass openings, covered patios, outdoor kitchens, and connected living environments have transformed the way people experience their homes. Today, the most successful designs create a seamless transition between interior and exterior spaces.
